在考研英語試卷結構中，小作文占到整個試卷中的10%的分數，主要考查的是考生根據所給情景寫出約100詞(標點符號不計算在內)的應用性短文，其中包括私人和公務信函、告示、備忘錄、報告等，共計10分。根據歷年真題小作文試題分析得出信函寫作是命題老師最常考的考點，而信函類型可分為13類，對于不同信函，考生寫作的方向及句式表達也會有所不同。

建議信是對收信人就某一問題提出建議或忠告的信件。其寫作對象有可能是寫給某個組織或機構，也有可能是寫給個人。

一、結構分析

建議信寫作主體寫作主要分三部分展開，包括：開頭段(簡要告知身份，說明建議內容)、第二段(分條展開陳述建議內容并給出建議原因)、結尾段(提出希冀，希望對方回復或采納上述建議)。

二、建議信常用句式表達

1、我寫此信希望能夠引起你們的注意，······

I am writing to draw your attention to the fact that ....

2、我寫信談談關于······的看法。

I am writing to express my views concerning......

3、就······一事你征詢我的意見，我會盡量給出有益的建議。

You have asked me for my advice with regard to ....and I will try to make some conducive suggestions.

4、我強烈推薦······，因為······

I highly recommend ..., for...

5、希望我的建議能對你的決定有所幫助。

I hope that my suggestions are helpful for your decision-making anyway.

6、相信你會認真考慮我的建議。

I believe that you will take my suggestions into serious account.

三、建議信寫作模板

Dear Sir and Madam,

I am writing to express my views concerning (建議的內容). As far as I am concerned, several moves can be taken to improve (改進方面).

Firstly, it would be beneficial if (建議1) because (原因1). Secondly, it is highly recommended that (建議2). As is known to all, (建議的好處). Finally, we hope that (建議3).

I am looking forward to your consideration about my proposals. Thanks in advance for that.
