Assistant or Associate Professor-Pharmacology and Therapeutics

Applications are invited for multiple, newly created, 12-month, tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. The Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics (http://pharmacology.med.ufl.edu) is continuing the expansion of its exceptional programs in neuropharmacology, muscle therapeutics, and immunopharmacology. The successful candidate(s) must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree; have at least two years of postdoctoral training; have a record of significant research accomplishments; and present long-term research goals consistent with establishing and/or maintaining a highly successful research program. Candidates at the Associate Professor level should also have a history of significant research funding and serve as PI of at least one current NIH R01 grant. All Department faculty are also expected to contribute to the professional and graduate education programs of the Department.
