哈佛大學官網辟謠：所謂哈佛校訓全是編造
關于哈佛大學的校訓在中國互聯網上盛傳已久。對此，哈佛大學校方在其官網上表示，這些校訓都是假的，在哈佛墻上看不到所謂的校訓，并稱所謂校訓都是編造的。
2013年7月16日，一名網友在哈佛圖書館官網留言提問：“我聽說在哈佛大學圖書館的墻上可以看到校訓，請問在哪里可以看到？”。該問題引發了廣泛的關注，瀏覽量高達14萬。
哈佛大學校圖書館管理員表示：“關于哈佛大學的校訓在網上早已盛傳，尤其是在中國，但我可以證明，哈佛任何墻壁上都沒有所謂的校訓。”
這個回復最后還援引《華爾街日報》2012年11月15日的報道稱，新一代中國學生對所謂校訓的靈感僅僅來自于一個關于哈佛的騙局。
關于中國盛傳的哈佛校訓有很多版本。
